Hypernet Technologies has partnered with AIDO HEALTH and BitHealth to provide a comprehensive service package aimed at supporting the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) integrated within the SATUSEHAT platform by the Ministry of Health.
In this collaboration, Hypernet Technologies offers Healthcare Package Solutions for EMR & Satu Sehat Integrations. This service package will assist healthcare facilities or hospitals in integrating EMR and HMIS into the SATUSEHAT platform. In addition to facilitating the integration process, this package includes high-speed, quality internet connections of up to 100 Mbps at no cost, available to all hospitals in Indonesia. In the SATUSEHAT integration partnership, BitHealth plays the role of the primary implementer. As a company committed to providing solutions that simplify medical data management and hospital operations, BitHealth is responsible for the development and implementation of the integration system. BitHealth collaborates with Hypernet Technologies and AIDO HEALTH to ensure that healthcare facilities can effectively adopt Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS). BitHealth has developed technology that enables real-time medical data synchronization, ensuring that every hospital can operate efficiently within the SATUSEHAT framework.
This collaboration demonstrates Hypernet Technologies’ commitment to supporting the Ministry of Health’s implementation of information technology related to EMR and HMIS. The use of electronic systems will undoubtedly assist medical professionals in managing patient data, thereby improving service quality.
Previously, the Ministry of Health issued Circular Number HK.02.01/MENKES/1030/2023 concerning the implementation of EMR and the integration of the SATUSEHAT platform. According to the circular, all healthcare facilities must implement Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by July 31, 2024, at the latest.
However, according to data from the Ministry of Health reported by Antara, as of February 15, 2024, only 8,362 healthcare facilities, or 14.9% of the targeted 56,093 facilities, had implemented EMR and were connected to and transmitting data to SATUSEHAT.
The significant number of healthcare facilities that have yet to implement EMR can be attributed to infrastructure challenges, limited human resources, and uneven internet connectivity. Therefore, Hypernet Technologies is stepping in to help healthcare facilities comply with government regulations.
Healthcare facilities that do not implement EMR by the specified deadline will face administrative sanctions, including written warnings, recommendations for accreditation status adjustments, and even recommendations for accreditation status revocation. Beyond administrative sanctions, the Minister of Health may impose penalties such as the revocation of business permits by the relevant authority.
Benefits of Using HMIS and EMR for Hospitals
A Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), known as SIMRS in Indonesia, is an information communication technology system that manages and integrates all service processes within a hospital into a coordinated network, reporting, and administrative procedures. This system ensures precise and accurate information, forming an integral part of the broader Health Information System.
The implementation of an HMIS like AIDO Hospita from AIDO HEALTH enables hospitals to optimize their operations through:
– Comprehensive patient management (from registration to payment)
– Inventory management for medications and medical equipment
– Financial management
– Workforce monitoring
– Laboratory management, among others.
Moreover, AIDO Hospita’s HMIS is ISO 27001 certified for data security, an essential consideration for hospitals seeking robust data protection and cybersecurity.
AIDO Health is an official partner of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and a provider of integrated HMIS and EMR systems within SATUSEHAT, a platform managed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
This project aims to support the Ministry of Health’s implementation of information technology related to EMR and HMIS. It seeks to advance healthcare facilities in Indonesia by adopting and integrating Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) into the SATUSEHAT platform initiated by the Ministry of Health. Through the collaboration between Hypernet Technologies, AIDO HEALTH, and BitHealth, BitHealth plays a pivotal role in this project by developing technology that enables real-time medical data synchronization. Together with Hypernet Technologies, which provides free internet service packages of up to 100 Mbps, this project not only smoothens the technology integration process but also ensures healthcare facilities have high-quality internet access to support their optimal operations. With BitHealth’s involvement, digital transformation in the healthcare sector becomes more accessible, faster, and more effective.
