Why is it Important to Improve Business Security and Networking with SASE?

About SASE

SASE was created by Gartner in 2019. The term SASE was first coined in a report titled “The Future of Network Security in Cloud”. In the report, Gartner revealed that customers want simplicity, scalability, flexibility, low latency, and widespread convergence of the WAN edge security and network security markets.

Gartner also predicts that by 2023, 20% of enterprises will adopt solutions such as SWG, CASB, ZTNA, and FwaaS from the same vendor. Then by 2024, there will be at least 40% of companies that will carry out a massive strategy to adopt SASE.

Why do enterprises need to use SASE?

Today, enterprise networks increasingly rely on and require cloud-based applications. These applications are used to keep businesses running and support distributed workflows in remote and mobile deployments. This has made conventional enterprise networks grow rapidly, forcing them to upgrade their infrastructure for security and to prevent growing cyberattacks.
